So I'm going to see a 1991 Alumacraft Classic Deluxe soon. For the HIN, it seems that it is a big red sticker by the driver seat. Are there any other spots it would/should be? The outboard is a Merc 40 2 stroke. The sticker I thought was the serial number is actually the model number and for some reason it has 2 model numbers? 1040412LD is what I thought the serial was and then ME 40ELPTO I thought means Mercury, model number. Now I'm probably going to have to have it inspected by a GW if I can't find it. Then the trailer... We know what the VIN is, but it might not actually be on the trailer? It's a single axle ShoreLand'r with 5.30-12 tires.

Got the title for the boat itself, then some Lien release forums (something like that) that have the HIN and trailer VIN, which I can lookup online and looks like the VIN adds up. Not 100% on the model of trailer as info is not available to compare. Possibly got no paperwork on the outboard.

What I'm really here for is where should all of these serial, VIN, HIN be located on whichever they belong to?

Thanks,
Swyt

Hull number is stamped on transom. Will start with three letters.
Trailer is stamped on trailer tongue.
Motor will have sticker on transom frame and stamped on block.
