Seems to be the normal thing to do now in the DFW area. Makes me sick how people can just drive off now. We need to make this stop !
May your wiener schnitzel always stay above your lederhosein.

It happens a lot up here. They call them hit-skips. I think it's a two part problem. Yes many are from people driving without a license or insurance. But there's also been an uptick in assaults, including shootings, after an accident. Which has made me wonder how many are from drivers who shouldn't be driving? How many are from people scared to stop because they don't want beaten or shot?

One of my employees at work was involved with this Tuesday. He was on 35 headed South by the TMS in his brand new company truck when a POS Accord spun out, crossed in front of him and took the front off the truck. The driver of the car never would get out, and when he saw the red and blue lights he fled on foot never to be apprehended. The plate on the card was a counterfeit paper one.

Had a client get rear ended Monday and the other person drove off. My client had some pretty bad whiplash from the impact. Sad world we live in.

Been happening for a long time. Maybe its worse today.
My wife was sideswiped on 360 in traffic about 10 years ago with a dented front fender. The guy had insurance but when she called it they said that he needed to report it before they could do anything. The guy never called in and cancelled his insurance so we were left in the lurch. Then 5 years ago my wife was parked in a parking lot while shopping and got hit. Her door had a ding and a note on the windshield. The note apologized for hitting her car, saying the wind blew his door open. No name, no phone number. I believe he did this while someone was watching so he wrote the note to keep them from reporting him.

My wife was stopped at a red light on Plano Rd. when she was rear ended by a carload of illegals. All 4 doors flew open and they ran off in 4 different directions. I guess that would count as hit and run. Their car had a paper plate on it as well.

I once hit a really big guy as hard as I could and he took it like a prize fighter, so yeah - I ran. Oh wait, this is about vehicle damage. It takes a real low life POS to do that and I hope they all get caught and receive a proper beatdown.

A few years back it was coming to a intersection that had been green for my direction for some time, and the cross was sitting at the red when this terrorist talking on the phone to her imam must have got the ok to attack and punched it and ran into the back quarter panel of my big white F250....I picture her yelling Ali-Ali-Ali-akbar as she hit the gas...a few great people that were around her and seen the whole thing followed into the store parking lot and gave me their number for court if needed, but they were floored at how she was on the phone and as if deliberate took off hitting me !!!... I say all that to say I really believe a lot of the so called accidents are an assault on “Americans”, financially, no joke... like said above some foreign idiot driving illegally smashing into someone and fleeing... it’s suspect...

I also had a friend who got hit by an a foreigner on BW8 in Houston. The guy takes off so my buddy chases him down and pins him against the wall of the beltway. The cops show up the guy has no license, no insurance and they let him go with no tickets. If there are no consequences people will keep running.

About 3 months ago a guy rear ends me trying to merge at the last second. He fled the scene, but I got him boxed in at an Allsup's Gas Station and he had no option but to face the music. He was aggressive at first but that attitude changed quickly. No license, no insurance.

Can't get blood from a turnip anyway. Carrying uninsured motorist coverage is a must.
