Aunt and uncle won $500,000 in the Canadian lotto. I've won $1000 drawing at a casino. Wife got a 7 day Caribbean cruise after winning $4000 on a royal.

We don't lotto but obviously gamble.

I guess the biggest thing I won is my first iPad. Put my business card in a bowl at a supplier demo/show and they called about a month later and wanted my address to send it. We have had a few scratch off payouts but nothing over $300 that I can remember.

my daughter and several friends were going to casino in Biloxi,Ms. and i gave her $100.00 and told her to put it in the $1.00 slot machine and I'd split the winnnings with her but don't come home with $20.00 winnings....about 10.00 pm i get a call telling me we had won $1,800.00 and could she quit now.....told that was probably enough and she could quit....other than a set of steak knives from readers digest,that about the most i ever won on gambling or drawings.....

I won a drawing from a $20 raffle ticket . It was worth $20K in value . Problem was the merch was mostly unusable --- evening gowns , jewelry , trip to a spa in Arizona etc..... . Ended up giving most of it away as they made me sign a tax document for full value ---

my wife worked with a guy that won one of the first lotto draws in Cali , $6.6M , paid out over 20 years . He worked another 8 years , paid for all his nieces and nephews college tuition .

my dentist's office manager , a lady I have known for long time ---get's a random call from So Cal guy --- he tells her that her husband might have won the second chance lottery for $1M --- she hangs up on him , he calls back --- begs for some time to explain --- she hangs up again . He calls a third time --- she tells him thanks , then hangs up again . She then calls her husband , asks him if he plays the second chance lottery , he says yes , I am busy , hangs up on her . She gets curious , calls her youngest son --- tells him the story . He decides to check the Super Lotto website , and they had his name listed as a winner for $1M --- with less than a week to claim the prize . They netted $750K after taxes

raffles and contests hate me, never won more than a turkey once when I was a kid. I just happened to be riding my bike past a remote broadcast from the local DX station, guy hollered at me and told me I won a turkey. to this day I have no idea how I won it and peddling home about 4 miles with a dam 30# frozen turkey on a stingray is not easy.

casinos I do okay, best was 53,000.00 won, walked out with 48,000.00, next morning just as I walked in to get back on the machine I was hitting on some female had put in 20.00 (5$ machine) and hit the dam progressive for 565,000.00 or so. I went home half mad, the winnings softened the blow.

in college a friend won a sweepstakes and it was (in the same year), tickets to the super bowl, final four, the masters, and one other, I'm thinking it was the world series or nba finals, maybe both..this was in the mid 80s
