In a drawing or a sweepstakes or raffle? I’m not talking about small things like a Tupperware set or a new VCR. I’m talking about winning a car or money or something big.
I used to work with a girl that won a new truck in a drawing that her sister entered her in as a joke. As for me, I ain’t ever won a dang thing.

Went to look at motorcycles and won an all expense trip to a road race up in Wisconsin. Pretty cool too.

But thou shalt say unto them, This is a nation that obeyeth not the voice of the Lord their God, nor receiveth correction: truth is perished, and is cut off from their mouth.

Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?

I worked with a guy in the early 70s that won a Ford Mustang in a national Sears contest. It was a pretty basic and did not change his life.

I won $1000 on 97.1 the eagle for being the tenth caller. I can’t remember the dudes name who answered but he used to announce at mavs games too. They recorded the call and played it on air, I ended up having a few buddies call me right after asking if it was me on the radio

A few times at the casino. Also won a couple of TVs in the past. I get comped concert tickets from time to time. But that's more about knowing the right people.

In college, me and a bunch of other drunk college punks went to the greyhound track in Corpus. I hit almost $7,000 gross, they paid me my net on the spot. I was the hero that night, managed to only spend a couple hundred at a topless joint later that night. Called my dad the next day to share the news and see if he’d help me get a newer vehicle for college. He chewed my rear off for gambling as a broke college kid, then he matched my winnings and I got a decent 6 year old pickup that carried me through college and more.

I won a lifetime VIP membership at the Blue Planet back in 1997. Of course, the bloody club shut down about a year or so later ...

Back when the sub was in Portsmouth, NH, in the shipyard, we had a raffle about once a month. I never won anything. Then they had one for a canoe, but I didn't buy any tickets. I was begged to buy tickets when they were desperate to finish selling them and bought 3 tickets right before they pulled to see who won. I won a Sportspal Canoe. The thing was awesome, it would not roll/capsize unless you actually stood up in it and rocked it like crazy. http://sportspalcanoes.com/pointed_canoes.htmLater, while recruiting in Chicago on radio station call ins I won tickets to see Charlie Pride at a concert, also won tickets to see Sha Na Na. Since those days, nada.
