call langdon outdoors in paris, they are our dealer and have a lot of new units coming in so they should be getting some good trade ins.

903 784 3140 tell jennifer allan told ya to call, she runs the place. they have polaris and can am so if you can wait a month or 2 there should be some duck/deer hunters trading in.

fyi, we now have 3 of the can am defenders like above and one of the small units for me, they have been 1/4 the pain in the butt that polaris were. they all break, some repairs can be really pricey and other stuff not too bad. you will have to have access to a 14' or longer utility trailer to haul it, put a 4500# winch on the front so you can load a dead unit, it will happen.

If you’re just gonna cruise around your property and up the road with the wife and kids I would look at the Kawasaki mule. They are bulletproof. If you plan on trail riding, that’s a whole different animal. Yalls trails may look a little different down there though than here in Arkansas. Beautiful scenery though if it turns into a hobby for you and your family.

Stay away from Polaris IMO. Not as good of a quality as Can-AM, Yamaha, amd Kawasaki. Those 3 would be my go to brands. I've considered Kubota because my Kubota tractors have been such good quality but can't get first hand reviews from anyone because I can't find anyone that's owned one.

Oh, I don't currently own one but own 3 Honda ATV's which have been great but don't know any Honda SxS owners.

IMO Mules are hard to beat for durability if using for heavy work.

If you are using mainly for riding around with the family, do yourself a favor and look at a Can-Am.

I have a Can-Am Defender Max and it is by far the smoothest ride I've experienced in side by sides. I rode in several before I made my decision. Maybe the newer models have closed the gap, but it wasn't close 4-5 years ago when I bought mine.

Honda for the real transmission. Cvt sucks imo. Better carry a few spare belts and don’t get too wet!

I have a little pioneer 500 and it has been flawless. My in laws got a Polaris at the same time and it spends more time broke than working.

Even though I’m kind of a Yamaha guy, I’d buy a Polaris. We have a Yamaha Wolverine 900 something or another. It seems to vibrates a little and it’s loud. I don’t even like to ride in it.

I have a 2006 Polaris 500 EFI sportsman 4 wheeler thats been rock solid. Runs just as good as the day I bought it.

Thanks, Billy

Go for the $35,000 CamAm. If I win the lotto tonight I am getting a couple and a several million dollar house in Colorado as base for them.

Also want to take into consideration how loud the cockpit is. I recently heard the Kubota diesel SXS is way to loud, slow and working way to hard for the task at hand. If you gonna be cruisin with the fam, something to consider.
