Can you charge a AGM battery on a regular 12v charger without hurt it?

If you are spending that much on a battery might as well get the right charger.

Agree with Coach. Just changed my charger out to make sure I max the longevity of my new AGM.

Check the specifications of the charger

If it is a 10 amp per bank charger and can put out 14.4 volts per bank it will work fine. I have used a portable Guest 10 amp charger for my Optima’s since 1990, and my batteries lasted on average 8 years. The little charger crapped out a few months ago and I bought a single bank NOCO 10 amp charger, but it has setting for wet cell, AGM, and Lithium batteries. 130.00 bucks at Grainger

It works very well.
