I had a really long detailed question written twice and my phone froze up both times, deleting the question bang, so here’s a quicker version.

While using Lowrance 2d/SI/DI on the trolling motor and Garmin Livescope at the same time, do you get any interference on the Livescope? Have you ever turned off the Lowrance, while using Livescope and noticed a difference in the picture or vice versa, turned on the Lowrance and noticed a reduced image on Livescope?

Yes, I've heard of this and the common theme is to put your unit into Standby mode.

I have Lowrance Active Target and Lowrwnce Active Imaging 3-1 on the trolling motor. Having any other transducers on at the front of the boat definitely causes a poor image from interference.
I have to use the stop sonar feature for the Active Target to work best.

I have all of that now, trying to keep from having to do that. That’s why I’m wondering if switching to LS will keep from having the interference, while running the Lowrance graph.

With the Active Target on I have no use for any other sonar on the bow to be on.

This, with livescope I have not turned on another transducer on bow since I hooked it up. I cant imagine why you would

I want to use the ghost 360 and have a LS transducer working at the same time.

I don’t notice any interference between the Lowrance Live and LS screen. Didn’t notice any before with the Elite Ti unit either. Maybe it’s the installation, I know a guy cheers

You would be my perfect test guy, if you had a SI/DI transducer. I wish I would have tested this back when I had the 32. Sure do miss the wider cone that Garmin offers!

Ahhh, got ya, no SI up front. Are you hearing others with interference issues running SI up front with LS?

I have the mega 360 and the lowrance active target running at the same time with no issues
There are some crazy lines that will pop up on AT if I turn on a different ducer up front but between those two I really have no reason to use anything else anymore

With AT yes, I haven’t found anyone with a setup similar to what you’re running. Actually, I can’t even use the ghost 360 and my AT at the same time, it will lock my graph up. If I have SI or 2d on, my AT has flashes and pulsates, actually loses some sensitivity as well.

I get why guys don’t need SI and AT, but when I’m fishing a roadbed, SI helps me stay on it.

I'm assuming you have the AT mounted separate from the trolling motor
Or using the ghost 360 would be pretty pointless..
I guess if the question is wether or not it's worth buying the garmin units to add LS to solve the interference issue and be able to use ghost 360 (which would limit your spot lock ability)
Then I'm curious why not think about adding the HB unit for the mega 360 to accomplish the same goal and retain the ability of the trolling motor to function?
Unless I am missing something? In which case my bad, carry on..

My AT is in the TM, when drifting across flats, I want the 360 scanning for grass beds/brush piles and I want to see info from the AT as well. I definitely do not want to have 3 graphs up at the trolling motor, I barely have room for 2. If someone would actually make a graph that did everything great, it would be a lot simpler. Garmin has the best LS, Lowrance links to my trolling motor and Bird has the best SI and 360. Unfortunately, I’m not running all that junk, being a weekend warrior.

Ahhh... you already have the LS that makes more sense.. I was thinking you only had the one lowrance unit in reference to AT.. and thinking about adding garmin... in that case yea... I'm not sure...
Can you follow the LS well while the trolling motor is sweeping for 360?
