Sunday evening and Monday til 1pm. Wind cut the fish able areas down significantly. If Black Drum were the target it would have been super solid. Ended up with 6 Trout and one perfect eating size Red just under 18”. Bunch of throw back trout and a lot of trash fish. He hit the pit this evening. Super good. Wife commented on how good it was. I was “that’s the perfect eating size.”

This morning started at 3:30am with the hotel fire alarm at Spicers blaring evidently from a power loss / surge with weather coming through. Decide since they weren’t on site that it might be a while and wewere close to packed so decided to finish and head out. Loading the last stuff was in 35 mph horizontal rain storm. When we were sitting in the truck about ready to leave they came up and killed the alarm just after getting there. Figures. We had decided not to fish the 1/2 day the evening prior looking at the weather. So got home early….real early.
