When I'm to lazy to fry bluegills, you can always go the easy route.
Browned Butter Blue's
If you are not proficient with cast iron use a non-stick.
But take a whole stick of butter.
I usually only have salted butter on hand .
If you have any favorite little spices pre season a little.
Pat them dry.
Season.
Get the butter really hot but Never Smokin burnt.
The butter gets foamy , medium golden color and nutty aroma and
Flavored drop the filets in.
Spoon the browned butter over the top constantly .
Try not to move the filet much.
Once the bottom begins to cook and brown and harden then flip gently over and spoon butter on it.
Cook till done . About 5 - 6 minutes or to your desire.
Put hot on a plate fresh chives or touch of parsley squeeze of Lemon.
Just succulent White meat.
