I heard a rumor that Mark Cuban had purchased the land around Lake Fairfield. Is there any truth to that speculation. I have not been able to find any news on the sale so I am assuming it is just rumor only.

State park is in negotiations to stay open, if it does it will be smaller than current footprint but still have one of the boat ramps so the lake would not be private.

Nobody actually knows what is going on... Some say it's closing in December, some say it's all a myth, some day only part of it is closing. Only way to know will be to wait to see what happens

i was told the land clearing was for fire prevention, the state was also repairing the road going to the ramp and beach area, so who knows what is really going on.

they wouldnt be repairing the roads if it was closing down and on the fairfield state park facebook page if you put 2 and 2 together you can tell its not closing
