Good to know, thanks. Those trees across from the ramp are where I caught a couple fish when I went in my kayak. Paddled out to the island and fished those trees with no luck. This was the second weekend it was open, though, and the water over there was hot! I think mid lake south right now you need to be in the deeper trees 25-30' Gotta get down to the cooler water.

We caught about 20 or 25 last week in 10-12 for water on sweet corn and worms , biggest was 3.5 pounds

Everything lined up to borrow the boat and meet my buddy; we're going out the 12th. Hopefully we can have one of those 20+ fish days yall are talking about!

Everything lined up to borrow the boat and meet my buddy; we're going out the 12th. Hopefully we can have one of those 20+ fish days yall are talking about! There is sort of a beach area in the park with some trees out from it. Done well there several times.
