Man, what a day! Slept in until 6am and got on the road around 6:45am. As soon as I got a block down the street, I noticed a strange sound coming from behind my Jeep. Pulled over 3 times to check things out but couldn't find a problem. After traveling about 2 miles from my house, I turned the car around to head back to the house. About 1/2 mile from home, I heard a "pop", and I limped on home. Pulled into the driveway to find that my left front tire was flat. Lots of tread left, but big hole in rubber. I knew that Discount Tire would be open around 7:30am, so I loaded the flat tire into my Wife's car and headed that way. I was back on the road about 8:00am. Got to Fairfield and walked around the trailer. The right front tire had bearing grease slung on it. The chrome plated lug nut cover ($22) and the Bearing Buddy ($15) was gone. After about 45 minutes, I swapped out wheel hubs and was ready to put the boat in the water. Oh well. The lake had whitecaps from the 20-25mph winds blowing in from the SW. The water was at least 2 feet low and nasty. The good vegetation seemed to all be gone. All of the boats on the lake were all huddled up in the few protected coves. We fished for 2 hours, got one strike and called it quits.

At least the weather was nice.......................

Be safe,
Rayzor

Fished there a week ago and caught 5 in the 4-5 pound range and about 20 in the 13" range using PB&J senkos.

The lady at the pay station also told us that the sale fell through so it looks like the lake will be open for a few more months.
