Greetings,
So I just got Mega 360 and installed it myself. Now when I say installed, I mean everything but hooking it up to power. I have it ran on 10 gauge wire with a 1 amp fuse between the unit and a 30 amp circuit switch, then to the batteries in back. I have been told and have read that it it recommended that it have it's own dedicated battery, which would be a fifth battery. I guess my question is, if I don't hook it to a fifth dedicated battery, which battery would you use? Thanks.

You do not need it on a dedicated battery. It is best to provide power from the outboard starting battery so the DRAIN wire can have water ground so the wet switch works properly.

Awesome, that's no the first time I've heard that. I am by no means battery smart with boats so I hate to plug it in and blow it up LOL. Thanks.
