Hi all, OnePecan here. Thinking about getting the LiveScope plus LVS34. Never had a LiveScope before is it worth it? Love to crappie fish & bass fish. I was told not to hook it up to my outboard motor battery. Any info on that? Also if I can't hook it up to that will a regualer 12v deep cycle acid battery with say 90AH 160 reserve capacity work? Not sure which direction to go in with battery supply. I would put the livescope & echomap UHD 94sv on the same battery. will that work? Any help with batttery supply would be appreciated.
Thanks & happy fishing stay safe on the water. >))))) *>

I use a 30amp, Amped Marine lithium for my 102sv and black box for LVS34. I bought the battery with a 3amp charger. Black box, charger and battery in my starboard side rod locker and still room rods, life jackets, etc. I got out for around $225. Absolutely the way to go. I haven't been below 13v in a full day. I run 3 garmin 9", livescope and all the other stuff like pumps etc. of a deka grp 27 flooded cell, never had a problem starting.
switched 36v over to lithiums and start battery is next (spring at earliest. lol)
I may do a dedicated to the garmins/ls with a 50ah lithium later on.

No need for a dedicated battery for livescope. I run 3 Helix 12's and a Garman 1222 with livescope on my cranking battery and no issues what so ever. Originally had a X2 battery then switched with a 125a Ionic. Both hold up just fine.
