Well, it has been a month. Not a lot of entries, but had a lot of emails from people saying that they were going to submit pics but hadn't heard back. I imagine the lake conditions with the rain put a damper on things. The winner is Malic Poole. I hope that the baits work out well for you, I will drop them in the mail tomorrow. It looks like only 1oz baits fit the pack so that is going to be what I am sending. I will start offering this bait for sale this fall. I am waiting for this to cool off, and get caught up on other things. The baits will be in silver holo-special effect, char/white/with a orange bottom, and char holo with red head. They will be available in 1, 1.5, and 2oz. Let me know how they work out for you Malic. Here are a few pics of the pack and baits, I did up a variety of colors with the holos with this gift pack!

Man, The only new baits for Sandies I have bought are Humdingers in the last several years. Ive still been using my granddads slabs from teh 70s(still puts a smile on my face each time I catch one on them). He passed on several years ago.
But in the future, I will have to buy some of those slabs. Heard nothing but good things about them.

Byron please let us know those are available. I like the look of the top one in the larger pic. Looks like some fish catchers to me. - --- - AL
You can't catch'em if your hook ain't in the water

Sorry to hear about your grandfather, I am fortunate to still have one who shares fishing trips with me from time to time. We sure do owe a lot to the fathers, uncles and grandfathers who have shared this awesome hobby with us that is a big part of our lives today. Thats what makes fishing with the kiddos a great time. Keep smiling when your using those slabs, he's right there watching & counting those fish your catching, with a big smile on his face. Thanks guys for the compliments on the baits. This one is pretty fun, since I dont have to pour the lead, brother does that part. Wont be to awful long, believe me I wanna be stocked up a tad before I sale them.

That cutting back motive has been for me like going to bass pro and not spending any money. But I have gotten better at juggling my hobbies, thanks to people pouring lead for me. Cuts a lot of time out for me. I have already fished more this year then all of last year, making me a lot funner to be around at home, . I dont know if you remember it JD but Steven tested this bait outta the back of your boat back in February, when the fish would run from the slabs, but nail the plastic, had nice action. So he bought a mold for it. I like the looks of this new bait a lot, but I probably will have to agree with ya, the 180 is my favorite. Glad your back on the water, I am ready to hear how that big 2.5oz 180 sack's um up. By the way talked to Van earlier, he was sick he couldn't go fish with you today.
