10/10/2022: SeaPro Todd took cliffshot and me fishing there from about 10:45 AM til 4:30 PM. Todd had fished there with a friend once before, but it was his first time in his boat and for Cliff and me. It was one of those trips where you go to a new lake with the challenge of finding and catching a good number of white bass. As it turned out, I believe we checked 14 structures and found fish on 3 of them: 51 on one, 22 on the 2nd, and 21 on the 3rd one.for a total of 94 white bass. We also caught 3 black bass and a carp. We caught several big white bass - the length of the biggies at Tawakoni but not quite as fat. We caught most fish on a #4 Mepps and some on a #2. Fish were in 15 to 20 fow. Todd and Cliff may want to add their comments and pics.

Thanks for the write up, DC. I first time fished BS with buddy CoachZ (Nick) on July 2019 and we did well in 3 hrs catching lots of huge "Tawakoni" magnums. Been wanting to take my boat there to play for the past 3 years and finally did with buddies Dennis and Cliff this past Monday.

BS is a relatively small lake and it's 1 hr east of Tawakoni, 2 hrs from my house and about 2 hrs away for DC who lives at Cedar Creek and Cliff lives in Athens.

We had a good day catching white bass. Overall BS is a good white bass lake and imo comparable to Lake Cooper where I've fished several times, white bass wise.

Thanks for joining me and making it happens, DC and Cliff. Another checkoff on my bucket list smile

These are pics from 2019 and this past Monday. Good luck guys!

Any day and any lake with Todd And Dennis is a great day. But BS turned out to be a pretty good lake for sandies. We had a great time and as usual Todd and I had to stay alert to try and keep up with Dennis the Whisperer. I enjoy and thankful for two busses like Dennis and Todd who are so caring and willing to teach others.

Thanks brothers it was a great day.

That’s a great trip seapro and crew! Was a lot of fun 3 years ago. Been going to BS regularly for a while now. Spring summer and fall. Summer by far is the best for white action imo. 80 percent of those 14 structures would have had fish on them in June July. I haven’t had as good of luck finding them All over in spring and fall. Well I split my time 50/50 with the whites and crappie. Just love that thump and it’s a good lake for that as well!
