I have no water coming from my tail tell on my 2013 60 HP Mercury 4 Stroke. I am pretty sure the line is stopped up because a dirt sober had clogged it up and I used a wire but I am afraid I didn't get it all out. There are no alarms going off but I don't want to take the chance of blowing the engine. I am looking for someone to unclog the line and perhaps replace the water pump that does good work at a reasonable price and doesn't take forever to get the job done.

I am located in Fort Worth but will drive for a good mechanic.

How far up the water line did you go?
Is the impeller relatively new?

I probably just went a few inches. The impeller is not new. More than 5 years for sure.

My guess is there is a partial blockage in the line and the old impeller isn't generating enough force for the water to pass.
Could be a relatively easy fix (impeller replacement and clear any line blockages)

closest I know of is rockwall marine, pretty good drive from ft worth but worth it imo.

I was there in August when motor went into limp mode and they were 2 months out to even look at it. Surely the OP can find a shop that is closer to FtWorth. Motor is definitely overdue for an impeller.
