Use them for fowl when we have to walk into marshes. They work pretty darn good and slide pretty well through mud and float in water. Bet in the snow, this would move around like a dream. Have a good set of gloves as the rope sometimes digs in, depending on weight inside the sled.

Hop would have a 75 H.P on it ...

We ain't all boys and we do just fine.
I hate hunting in that much snow, reindeer would be nice for packing.

That pretty much sums up what I've read. I'll try it out this weekend dragging a dismantled stand, chainsaw and such into the woods. As far as my home's tile floor being unfashionable, my wife couldn't agree more. But in this sandy ads area I live in, it works quite well.

When I was young I stalked a 10 point buck for about 3 miles on foot before I shot him just before dusk. He had spooked from a feeder and ran into some back country where there were no roads or trails. I tied his legs together with my belt and carried/dragged him through 3 miles of brush to the road.

The sled would have been nice there, but the real lesson I learned with that buck was to shoot animals closer to the road.

Jet sled update. Did its job well. Drug it loaded 400 yds one way. Tumped it once. Made the trip five times over stobs, brush, pine needles and dirt. No damage to the sled. I added to the pull rope and put it around my waist. Just walked. Recommend.
