So this came in today. Plan to use it to take stuff in and out of a creek bottom in East Texas. Anyone here ever use one for game extraction? [Linked Image]

I wished I had something like that for the very first buck I killed.

Same. I've read where they work well. I got back on this lease last year. Gas companies had changed the landscape and the timber company had done their thing to clear cut and replant. So I went to find my old spot from years ago. Like 15 years ago. And there it was. My old sign marking my area. So now it's tough to get in the oak bottom . I built a blind that I'll dismantle and carry in via this conveyance. Thinking it will work in the pine needles ok. There's a creek running in that bottom that I dropped an 8 point into the creek. Somehow I managed to pull him out over a 5 foot bank.. I was in my 40s then. Not that young anymore.

I killed my first buck on the back side of a "mountain" we had in Palo Pinto county. All the gates were locked and I had walked waaaaaaaayyyy up there on a sunday afternoon. I shot that buck as the sun was setting and had to take my belt off and wrap it around my torso. Found some bailing wire and tied it from my belt at the center of my back to the buck's antlers. Dragged that sum'buck about 3 miles up and down hills and through creek bottoms to get him back to the truck. This was before cell phones.
