1. The store manager - a pretty girl with an attitude - just stared when I walked in the door. No one else was in the store to ask a question where the product I was looking for was. Obviously someone's granddaughter given the job that doesn't have a clue about customer relations. (The family is rich that still owns the mini-shopping center and leases the space to ACE.)
2. the common item I was looking for - not in stock. No idea when it would be in stock - at least according to her.
3. the man I've known for 35 years that worked at the hardware store Ace replaced is subordinate to the b@^&*.

Customer relations is better at all of the supermarkets I shop at, from shelf stockers to store managers.

All I can say is that the lighting is better. Regardless, I will travel the extra 10 minutes to shop somewhere else. I complained to ACE online - no response. Strange that the Hannafords in that shopping center is just as bad when it comes to stock-on-hand. At least the people working there are a pleasure to deal with.

that sounds like my recent experience with Sherwin Williams.
might be the same girl........lol

Funny, hadn’t shopped at Ace in years but last week they had the best price online for some cheap plastic shelves for my boat storage locker. They were ready for curbside pickup fast, brought out quickly when I got to the store. Was happy until I assembled them and found a cracked part. Oh well it was cheap and plastic a little tape seems to have it holding up for now. Mostly made me want to try Ace again.

Was this in Wichita Falls. If so, everything in Wichita Falls sucks. Except Sevis burrito shop.

Sevi’s Burrito shop is in WF and it doesn’t suck.

The best one ever was Elliott’s

Cut with her golden oars the silver stream,
And greedily devour the treacherous bait.

Love ours in Whitney. They spent a lot to remodel it, and love that it is open late on Saturday and Sunday.
