I can do the pulled pork, but I don't have a decent recipe for the coleslaw. I'm looking for one with a bit of zing. Any suggestions/recipes will be much appreciated.

Thanks,
JAlfred

You can either go with Vinegar based or mayonnaise based. For pulled pork, I prefer vinegar based.

Think closer to Italian dressing than ranch.

This is a great coleslaw recipe. Very easy to make. Let it setup in the refrigerator overnight. You won’t be disappointed.
I add a a little bit of chopped onions for a little extra zing.

This looks like a great recipe. I hate the store bought stuff because it's always too creamy.

Here is the recipe I use with my pulled pork.

Coleslaw (Classic Memphis-Style)
Servings: 8 servings

Ingredients:
1 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons dijon mustard
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
3 tablespoons sugar
3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon onion powder or 1 tablespoon finely grated onion
2 teaspoons celery seeds
1 16 ounce bag of coleslaw mix plain cabbage or tri-color deli style

In a large bowl, stir together the mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, sugar, salt, onion powder, and celery seeds.
Add the shredded cabbage and toss or stir until well coated.
Refrigerate for an hour before serving and up to 2 days.

I`ve been using this Malcom Reen recipe for a few years now. It is awesome.

Yepper! His coleslaw is the real deal! Same recipe he used in the Killer Hog video, just added the baggie for mixing.

2 Tbsp of mayo or miracle whip
2 Tbsp of apple cider vinegar
1 Tbsp of honey
1 tsp of mustard
1/4 tsp of kosher salt
1/2 cup of chopped scallions
1/2 head of red and green cabbage each

You may want to sneak in some shreaded carrots and a few raisins

The only thing I do different to this is I do half and half mayo and sour cream and I add a dash of caraway seed at the end. I think you would find the end result very interesting.
cheers
