Odds are as big as Rayburn is they'll probably be some club tournaments going on at the same time the MLF and HS teams are rolling and it will handle it just fine. If Fork can handle 2000 plus fisherman on any given weekend for a tournament and its roughly at 1/5 the size of Rayburn?????

Last year they scheduled a Toyota series on top of the THSBA regional. This year they scheduled a Toyota series on top of the THSBA state championship .
That's a good thing. Put all the tournaments on the same lake, same day so they don't screw up the rest of the lakes for those of us that care nothing about any of them.

Well, we know that MLF will have 3 million hours of air time, exposing the professional anglers in the spotlight of stardom. Just any minute now, they will be paid more than professional dart competition throwers. That's a good thing. Put all the tournaments on the same lake, same day so they don't screw up the rest of the lakes for those of us that care nothing about any of them.
One of the smartest ideas I think I’ve read here. Instead of trashing all the lakes, just have a few dedicated tournament lakes.

Nope, should I just whine about it, like everyone else. Maybe I should whine about FFS, would you feel complete then? Are you whining about FFS being used on the BPT?

Was that the tourney where the captain was blatantly cheating using a ladder, then in a example of pure sportsmanship and on the water etiquette he cuts off Castledine and called him a d..... while Castledine was filming ????? That tourney???? Lolz probably need to let area stores know to stock up on laundry baskets as well.

Actually, they are getting host assistance from chambers of commerces and tourism associations, like a CVB or A&P committee. Everything above a BFL usually has some form of transaction to assist in costs of holding the event on site. Some BFL events have assistance also. It can be hotel rooms, food and monetary exchanges. Also cooperation with local authorities on facilities and securing ramp permits. And no, they can’t concern themselves with hundreds of local events they don’t know even are happening. The ETSHS event is huge, but most are off their radar in most cases. BCB There is nobody paying MLF to bring the Toyota series anywhere . That’s right above the bfl series. Fifth down the line of the highly prestigious want to be pro league .

I don't understand, Slim...you say the HS teams have the advantage of being able to be on the good spots first and they are such a big deal they're not going anywhere...so, why are you on here whining?

They’re not purposely scheduling over anyone in a particular region. They run over 200 events a year and there’s only so many weekends. It’s not personal, it’s just math. They’re operating their business, not worrying about what everyone else is doing. We all battle schedules and have crossover that we can’t control.
