Does anyone know where I can buy live minnows in Collin County? There are a few smaller lakes that I'd like to try live-minnow fishing in McKinney/Prosper but can't seem to find bait shops other than in Rockwall or near Hubbard,

There is a couple different places you can buy them on 78 south of lavon lake. Bait shop in Locus sells them (NW of Lavon lake).

Thank you both for the resources. Went out to Lucas Food Mart today for live minnows and got a couple crappie....not a bad day at all!

There’s an old gas station in the colony that sells minnows. It’s on 423 just south of the bridge over Stewart creek of lake Lewisville. Address below

Oddly enough I was in Scheels and in the fishing department they had a minnow tank with the what I call big minnows. That’s the kind I like. Anyway Scheels has a live bait tank.
