Heading to Rayburn 9/23-28, never been. I have already ordered a Lance Vick guide lanes chip, any suggestions on where to stay, what part of the lake we should concentrate our efforts for Bass and what baits and colors have been working if that’s not asking too much. 😂
Thanks in Advance!

Considering the locals spend all their time dumping brush all over the lake maybe graph around the black forest ditches and drains for that. It google earth's pretty well too.

Sam Rayburn report

This question was brought up last week and I left a fairly comprehensive report in the link above. Not much has changed other than the lake dropping just a little bit more and the grass growing a bit higher. I will be out there guiding most of this week but have some openings next week if you are struggling or want to learn some stuff. If you are also looking for a place to stay, I know of a few unlisted rentals midlake that are an option. We are finishing up my rental house in Zavalla right now but it is currently rented some of those days because of the Media Championship coming up.

Yeah, may need to call Clark. This is taking way too long.

Lakeview Lodge on 147 is a great place to stay. They have security cameras directly pointed on your boat that you can watch on the TV. Also, some BAD ARSE hamburgers! Right across the road from Cassel Boykin ramp too.

If I'm fishing the south end, I usually just stay at the Best Western in Jasper. Can park your boat right in front of your room and plug your batteries in. About 10-15mins from the Twin Dikes ramp
