My daughter lives in the PGBT-Midway Rd. area and she and a friend are getting into fishing. They bought Zebco 33 outfits and some basic lures and are now in search of somewhere to try their luck.
They went to some public pond yesterday but there was too much moss/grass/junk around the bank and they had no luck. I don't live in the Metroplex and have no knowledge so I'm asking for your help.
Can you recommend some community lakes. parks etc. with decent bank access in the Addison-Carrollton-Frisco area?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Take Midway south to Frankford road, turn left (East) to ParkGrove Ln., turn left (North). There is a good place along ParkGrove to fish for panfish and LMB. ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2022/09/full-29794-153990-fish.png)

Thanks for the response. I forwarded it to my daughter. It is very close to where she lives. Thanks again.

You best chance at getting a bigger fish is a lake, but more fish a pond will be your best bet.

(the link is supposed to show the upper part of Belton lake. The side to where the Leon river feeds it. Mc Gregor Park being the center.)
