We recently had a lighting strike our communication 40'tower, fried quite a few things and we are replacing most all, however our telephone hard line is operated through a OOMA system, we have purchased a new one and my Wife is having a tough time connecting it (thru the Oriental folks) is there anyone here that is aware of these systems that can talk my Wife thru it? Don't even suggest me, I need the 8year old neighbor kid come over to turn my computer on.

THANKS THANKS THANKS

I feel your pain; I went through the same thing in August while trying to replace my Ooma and dealing with the India call center staff not listening to the actual problem.

Has your wife tried using the online chat feature at Ooma's Contact Us? My problem was that I was replacing my Ooma and the first level support staff never passed that on to the second level support staff. Only after the second level support staff actually entered my new information in the Ooma system did it work properly.

Another option would be try sending an email to customeradvocate@ooma.com for assistance.
