Thought I'd share this here incase anyone is interested, I make my own lead weights and it's super easy to do.

Making your own weights, jigheads, and slab spoons is a great way to majorly cut costs. The thing I like is that it allows me to customize jighead/hook combinations and color combos that aren’t readily available in stores.

I bought the mold at a tackle shop and the hot pot on Amazon. You can find everything on Amazon and eBay, including lead if you need it. But I just use the lead off old cast nets
