Holy Chit! Top poster of the day! Uhhhh, what was your favorite day in 1979?

I was 4 that year. It’s a little hazy but I believe that was the year I went on a road trip to Nebraska with my grandparents. We saw a large grass fire. I remember the fire trucks.

We visited my great Uncle Don’s dairy farm and they were trimming the hooves of his bull named Mathew. That bull was making some scary noises. We fished in one of his ponds and the grasshoppers were jumping all over me. I caught a catfish and tried to hold it and it bit down on my fingers and wouldn’t let go. For some reason, I remember stopping at Long John Silvers somewhere on that trip.

I’m pretty sure that was in 79 because I know I wasn’t in school yet on that trip and I remember a lot from my kindergarten year.
