The receivers did not look good at all but the QB damn sure did not help that matter, the Cowboys could have used that 37 total combined yards that Cooper and Wilson came up with yesterday. As far as McCarthy goes, I was not a big fan of him to begin with, but he inherited this team, a team with an average QB who will have missed the better part of the three seasons that Mike will have coached. They do need a complete culture change, much like what happened when big Bill was here, probably not going to happen. What are you even talking about? Dak will have played in more games under McCarthy than he hasn't. I am all for shipping Dak off if if plays like he did last night any more. His contract is on Jerry as well. He had 4 years to decide if he is a franchise QB. He offered that big boy contract to him. I know that Cooper and Wilson thing sticks in your craw but only because its true. Both were bad moves and both could have been avoided. They are gonna be in cap hell though if they just start releasing players. All that guaranteed money comes due at once. GM Jerry created this nightmare. You know you need offensive weapons so you ship tow off for no reason. You know you are weak at O line and you release one of your best. You know your O line is still weak but do nothing to sign a bonafide backup QB or speedier receiver in free agency. You let Moore try every way in the world to get Pollard the ball in the most gadget type plays instead of letting the man run the damn ball. Tell us how the money that Jerry saved on Cooper and Wilson helped this team. Also please tell us what the identity of a Mike McCarthy team is. I sure as hell don't know. What is it that McCarthy does here? Jerry picks his OC and DC. Jerry openly talks about other coaches coming here. One of these days you will realize that nothing is gonna change under Jerry. The times have passed him by. I respect the Super Bowl trophies he brought here but damn that was almost 3 decades ago. There comes a time a change is needed. This team lacks a winning culture and accountability. It has for many years. They all talk too damn much and feel entitled because they wear the star. They are living on the past far too much. I know, this is the part you are gonna reply that I must think I am a GM. Nope, just a spare really, just a fan. If I can see it then its pretty damn obvious.

At this point I would be getting with SF and see what it would take to get Jimmy G headed this way. Let him play until Dak is healthy then evaluate it at that point. If he is playing good leave him in. If not put Dak back in. Go into 2023 with a real QB competition and see what happens.

And 1 more time, they did not want Collins or Cooper on the team for other issues, was not to do with talent. where is the money going to come from to pay Micah, Diggs, Lamb, Shultz, Brown, just to name a few who will be getting new contracts sooner than later. I believe they are trying to stay out of salary cap hell is why they have done what they have, Amari and Wilson would have cost 28M a year for those two guys, do you really feel they are worth that ? At the end of the day the NFL is a business for all of the owners, like it or not Jerry is winning, if you don't like it don't watch them, go fishing.

But having said that, Fields looked like the better QB and leader.

Only time things will change is when people quit buying tickets and buying jerseys, until that happens going to be more of the same. JJ is laughing all the way to the bank, he don’t care if they win another game, stands will be full and beer will be bought and they will still be getting beat.

Dak is barely even in Top 10 highest paid QBs now. They are gonna lose Schultz has his price has almost doubled since the spring based on what even serviceable TEs are making. Sounds like he is struggling to figure out how to handle what most over teams do salary cap wise. What were the issues with Cooper besides his salary? Guyvwas nothing but class here, he is ranked high by PFF and is considered one of the best route runners in tbe game. He played hard here,no showboating, no drama, no BS. He played hurt and never complained.Rarely dropped any passes and seemed to love being here. He constantly drew double coverage and was a bona fide threat. What were his issues?

Kicking the can down the road is all that is and the sheep will follow. Even if he got a big name coach he doehave much to work with, receivers are terrible, line isn’t great and Dak is nothing more than a practice team QB at best. The Ewok is way over paid and not that great.

What were his issues? where is this money supposed to come from ? I guess they could just print more like the government, there are consequences for doing that, I doubt dak would give any of his up, he and Amari had words after the San Fran game last year, maybe part of the reason he gone. Amari missed practice all the time, if he had a hang nail he would sit out, he disappeared in games way too much, he did not go along with the team on the vaccination ( I don't blame him ) just some of the things I have read and heard, there are probably more. So Shultz is going to get 20-22 M a year ? I think he is getting 11M now, will be like 13 M next year if they tag him again from what I am reading.

The only way a new coach will help this team, is if Jerry relinquishes total control to the coach. Jimmy Johnson was the last coach that had that, then Jerry stepped in a cut him loose because Jimmy was getting more air/media time then he was. The one coach that does need to go is Kellen Moore. His play calling level is High School at best.

There is a conspiracy theory going around that the Cowboys are keeping as much powder dry as possible so if they bring in a new coach next year they will have the cap room to make a lot of moves, sounds a little crazy but I guess it is possible.

Don't worry Dallas fans, Jerry is teaching Stephen everything he needs to know. That way when Jerry dies there will be no drop off in production. He learned that from Ol' Al Davis. Just look at the success the Raiders have had under Mark.
