Hi every body. The fishing has been very bad at my lake this year. I was wondering if anybody has had the same problem. I have a live scope, so I can see the activity and it seems that there is no activity on my go to BP's. Is it possible that the heat wave changed their pattern?

I have 50 - 100 (never counted them) brush piles marked. In many cases, the spots that were the most productive last year aren't the same this year but the productive depths are still roughly the same. My catch rates are even higher this year than last but that is probably due to experience and not change in the lake. If you don't have A LOT of spots marked, it might be time to mark more so you have alternatives to quickly cycle through.

Fish seem to be in slightly different areas than last year but the bite is still really good. Size is up for me this year it seems

I took your advise and found a new brush pile. It's awesome. I'm going to hunt for more. I guess I just got lazy. Check this out.

Nice Ben ! That looks like it's loaded. Keep searching and I'm sure you'll find a lot more.

I have been noticing this since Feb, even mentioned it a few times on my YouTube channel. Seems like everything is about 1-1.5 months behind. Even the shad spawn was off.
