I’m filling my vehicle up with gas

4pm upper middle class neighborhood Texaco gas station

35 year old white male gets out of a clean 2019 Honda Accord in pajamas and a nightgown wearing house slippers and enters the convenience store to purchase items and then returns to his vehicle to pump gas. The young man looked alert and oriented, but hadn’t had a shave in four days and hadn’t seen a gym in four years.

I may have witnessed similar at 3am when in college, but never in daylight hours

What is the most logical explanation?

1. I don’t get out much, this is a common occurrence these days—he probably works from home?

2. He works the night shift

3. Afternoon wake and bake

4. He lives in mom’s basement and was filling up her nice car with gas.

PS he was taking his time acting as if his appearance early rush hour/schools just getting out was completely normal and acceptable.

Maybe he’s been home feeling ill and this afternoon was the first occasion he felt well enough to get some gas and snacks.

We have a guy 18-22 years old walking around campus EVERY DAY for the last 3 weeks in a full on spiderman costume...and in years prior, we've had a guy walking around in a dragon costume. Not a **** thing surprises me anymore. Hell, we got people going to class in their furry persona.

We saw a guy in a Spiderman costume walking along the Hempstead Turnpike on Long Island last Saturday.

By night gown, I mean robe— like what you’d see at a spa, but his was a dark gray robe/ not white.

I did not see what items he was purchasing, but it is possible he was purchasing some heavy cream to make White Russians.

I suppose he might be having a tough time with the Queen’s passing and all.
