I just purchased a 30 amp lithium battery and will be running my livescope and fish finder off of it. Question is do I need to install a toggle switch or will all the power turn off to the battery once I power the fish finder off?

Turning off the graph will not power off the GLS10 livescope black box. I installed a switch for mine.

I run my Livescope on an Amped Outdoors lithium battery. For maximum life and performance of your battery Amped Outdoors recommends storing your battery in a place with a temperature somewhere between 40 and 80 degrees. Not sure what brand battery you have but you may want to check the manufacturer’s recommendation if your boat is not kept in a climate controlled area. I bring my battery inside the house if I’m not expecting to make another trip to the lake for a while. They are so small and light that it’s not a problem to bring it inside.

I have the same setup. I don't have it switched and don't plan to.

No switch required...Via the network cable when you turn off your graph it turns off the GLS10 "module"...Will it still have power going to the module. Yes about as much power that runs your clock in your vehicle. That battery in your vehicle never runs down and neither will your lithium. Especially if you keep the charger on it full time which is recommended.

O.K. so I keep my boat in storage, so your saying every time I finish fishing and put the boat up I should hook the charger to it and leave it till my next trip?

That is what I would recommend. It is what I do and all of my customers do.

Talk/email your lithium battery company. Most lithium batteries do not do well being on the charger at full charge all the time like the regular lead or AGM batteries do.

I think it depends on the Charger.

I just ran mine off gator clips. I plug it in when ready to use and unplug when done.
