Now I know nothing of Mexico lakes but it looks like there is another lake downstream of the one flooding over. I expect it will take a good while for that water to make it to Amistad. Have no idea how much water is coming if there is any.

This is correct.. This lake spills into Luis Leon.. Yesterday it was at 109 % and releasing an estimated 15,334 CFC..
This lake is piss ant sized but the important thing is that it is running over...
Also Pico De Aguila (real piss ant) is at 115%, releasing 3866 CFS and it is also dumping into the Conchos system as well..
Boquilla, which is the big lake, has gone from 19% two weeks ago, to 50%a as of yesterday.. When this SOB runs over it is then time to take some real interest in what is happening..
So far all this is a good thing.. But I ain't saying it is THE thing just yet..
But you can bet your [censored] I'm watching..
James Bendele Falcon Lake Tackle "On the eighth day, Man invented the Fish Hook."
Took a ride to Box today. Someone moved the barricade way. Ramp is about in 12 ft of water. You can see the drop off. Still needs a few more shore foot to be useable. Won't need much clean up. NPS did move a long dock in as you can see below. An 18ft Lowe Bass boat was loading out off the ramp. They said they had plenty depth.
The Mexican National Water Commission tweeted that Luis Leon is at 95% capacity as of today. Las Vírgenes is releasing releasing 22,000 cfs. Should mean that some of this water will make it to the Rio Grande.
