I think mid lake south right now you need to be in the deeper trees 25-30' Gotta get down to the cooler water.

We caught about 20 or 25 last week in 10-12 for water on sweet corn and worms , biggest was 3.5 pounds

Everything lined up to borrow the boat and meet my buddy; we're going out the 12th. Hopefully we can have one of those 20+ fish days yall are talking about!

There is sort of a beach area in the park with some trees out from it. Done well there several times.
