I did mine myself. So far no issues and is very sturdy. The transducer pole was made out of pvc. It is simple and cheap and can be moved from one side of boat to other. Ram mount is used to secure the pole. I added a router up with the livescope transmitter. By doing this I was able to link my back unit console with livescope. Display is mounted on an adjustable boat seat pole and inverted mount. Using 2 18 volt portable power tool batteries for power. Didnt want to rob any power from trolling batteries. Both batteries and charger where $150. I get about 6 hrs of continuous use. Takes me about 2 minutes to set it up. I can run WOT with it set up no issues with it. I have heard some people have spent $1000 or more on mounts and installation. I think I spent around $250. Every boat and every angler will be different. The best move I made was the telescopic pole so much easier to see. Wiring the router was probably the most difficult part worth it in the end.

Am an electrician and do my own installs. It's really not that simple to install electronics properly. Have had lot's of friends bring their rig to me to re-work a hack install. Many owners think they can install themselves. Unit powers up and they have an image. They don't realize their image is degraded from sloppy install, but it works. Get a professional install from Jones TM or Bass Tank.
