Apparently COVID killed off or retired a significant number of people in my professional skill set.

Before that, I’ve managed to scrap together a third house bigger than the last two combined, and with a real backyard and nature. I don’t see neighbors anymore or hear goats from the family with 6 kids in a 1900 square foot house.

I’m trying to identify the late night calls I’m hearing.one starts as a whistle and ends with a trill flurry. Reverse turtle dove.

Second, I have a very wonderful amount of seep spring. I’d like to make an oasis for mariposas and aviary friends to have a two way year round option. Any resources to help would be great.

Also, I’m still a better guitarist than any of you and pass the hat and send your best. I’ll match the money, beat them, and then convert it to illegal kugerands and bury it, pee on it, and send you the video.

Stay frosty.

I would PM Derek.

It’s because I finally have enough that you stack a UFIA buddies won’t even throw in enough to call me out.

I mean, the sob stories I’ve read and the bad years of my life are somewhat chronicled here. Now I’m actually walking tall and last night for an hour…I played or riffed in FUNK JAZZ ROCK METAL COUNTRY CLASSICAL BLUES TAPPING FLEAMENCO CHICKENPICKIN WESTHUMB with a side of BUCKEHEAD SLAP.

Pretty sure a few of y’all like IN65 and what was that lawyer wearing the coyote skin would prefer I stayed disappeared.

Oops. Been practicing and I hope your wallets are phaaaaaaaat as (insert name here)’s wife…mudshark?

Your night bird may be a screech owl. Pretty common in the metro area.

Read it backwards.

I have Merlin on my phone but I never use it. One of my favorite things in the evening is to sit with All about birds open on my ipad and playing their songs back at them.

That sounds interesting. I may have to try that. thumb

I wonder if it's a "Chuck-Will's-Widow"? It's a member of the of the Night Jar family. We have one in our neighborhood.

There is a good phone app for bird identification called Merlin that has both visual and sound identification.

May you be treated the way you treat other people, today and everyday!

Listen to song #1 Money is on eastern screech owl but all the guys already told you that.

You are incredibly wealthy if you have a natural seep still working in this drought. And all of the wildlife for miles around knows exactly where it is too. You are probably a relied on secret stash when everything else is dried up. And a seep still running in this drought would probably be known on migration routes as well.

As far as native plants, I could overwhelm you quickly. There's a ton of resources online and you have Botanical Research Institute of Texas or BRIT in your own back yard. Go play with their website and you'll have all the tools you need to get started.

A good rule of angling philosophy is not to interfere with another fisherman's ways of being happy, unless you want to be hated.
