So, the big worry was that with the lake coming up almost three feet from the deluge, what would it do to the fishing? Apparently not much when you look at the totals of the top 5. Weather didn't get to hot and there was a slight breeze.

All fish 10" and up are keepers. Only the best 5 count.

Boaters

First Place went to Dusty Newton of Van with 10 bass for 28.05 LB with the 8.52 LB boater lunker.
Second Place went to Jack White of Farmers Branch with 5 bass for 12.40 LB with a 3.62 LB lunker.
Third Place went to Tim Gold of Mineola with 4 bass for 10.81 LB. with a 4.49 LB lunker.
Fourth Place went to Galen Smith with 3 bass for10.52 LB with the 7.15 LB boater lunker. Tie
Fifth Place went to Robert Gaylor of Lake Fork with 3 bass for 10.30B with a 7.28 LB lunker.

Co-Anglers

First Place went to Scott Powell of Lake Fork with 3 bass for 16.07 LB with the co-angler lunker of 6.64 LB. Tie
Second Place went to Rick Wright of Rowlett 6 bass for 13.41 LB. with a lunker of 5.60 LB.
Third Place went to Tom Whitrock of Lake Fork with 2 bass for 7.20 LB with the co-angler lunker of 6.64 LB. Tie
Fourth Place went to Bob Lambert of Lake Fork with 3 bass for 5.02 LB with a 3.31 LB lunker
Fifth Place went to Larry Kelly of Yantis with 1 bass for 2.36 LB

This week we managed 66 keepers with 2 skunks.

So, you'd like to fish at Lake Fork but don't really have the $500 for a guide. You can come and fish with us for a $20 entry fee and a $20 donation for your boater. Unless you are a boater. Annual dues are also $20. Our group of boaters will be able to put you on fish most of the time.

The LFA fishes every Thursday except T-Day and Christmas on 2 different formats. A 5 fish limit we call LFA and a MLF style format where every fish counts, we call Hard Core, 3 special tournaments and an end of year dinner. We are a club of 53+ seniors (Mostly) and are very liberal on members being for off vacations and medical issues.

Right now, we are looking for more Co-Anglers.
