Anyone know if crappie or sandbass are biting at that bridge (or anywhere) on the Sanger side. Taking 8 and 10 year old nephews out, in the past hit the brush piles but just got the pontoon running after 3 years sitting and don't have gps (my dads boat and he lost the graph) so not sure I can find the core brush piles. I did install a small graph for now, but no GPS or mapping. Guess I maybe able to download something on my phone to find the brush piles? Anyway only have a couple of hours and really want to introduce my nephews to fishing in a good way. I will be putting in at sanger access by the marina and boat does not go fast. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Will share report later if I get on some fish.

Sandbass are improving on the surface down near the dam/ Kates Point , they appearing on the surface schooling and have been staying up top for quite a while, early. Bigger crappie are showing up at the fillet stations from anglers hittin the brush piles.
