Looks useless for reels that are on rods.

I have about 30 of the academy neoprene and velcro ones, most of them are getting pretty ratty but still do the job.

Oh I don’t know, maybe be able to cover the reel while it’s still on the rod.

I noted that it’s kinda a pain to put on-Slip over the reel handle, stretch over the reel, done. Sure, it might be difficult for some grindefinitely not coming off once it’s on
