One truck & trailer in the parking lot when I pulled my boat out today. It's getting down to the true diehards. Had a nice breeze today & partly cloudy skies so the heat wasn't all that bad. Ended up fishing from daybreak until 3:45 & ended up with 31 bass, one catfish & a whole bunch of sunfish. The biggest bass went 5 lbs. 9 ounces. The water temp when I started fishing was 89 degrees & most of the lake ended up in the low 90s. Went to the discharge to see how hot the water was & my Garmin unit shut itself off when it hit 107. Fished a lot of deep water today, but caught most of the bass from 16-22 feet deep. The sunfish were mostly in water from 4-8 feet deep. All fish released...

Nothing beats having a super water body all to yourself. Nice slabs Steve. Good job.


Side Note: Any of the Bluegills in spawn mode?

Side Note: Fished a Austin area lake this past week and me and my friend had the lake pretty much all to ourselves. Guess the heat is keeping some people off of the lakes.

Thanks RH, Curtis & Doc...Haven't posted lately because last week I was pretty sick, and this week having work done on both truck & boat...someone backed in to me "somewhere" & broke a tail light. Have been having a run of what we call TonRom luck.
