You might look into getting the XR LVS62 transducer. Latest and greatest. 500 foot range supposedly. Selling my LVS32 and getting one soon

I just installed my Livescope Mega 360 today. I decided to do it myself so that I could troubleshoot it if I had a problem on the water. Wasn't bad at all. I know tge guys mentioned all do a great job and woukd have used one of them if I had no wanted the knowledge to troubleshoot it all.
I ordered all the wiring and connectors on Amazon. Had about $100 in supplies and maybe 2hrs of time for labor.

It's not a hard install, worst part of mine was getting connectors thru the access hole as bass cat does a [censored] job with that
