Without recruiting youth the the TFF it will die with the aging membership.

What will attract the younger crowd?

Only 142K members and it continues to grow in the 20 years I've been here.

Offer them free stuff.
That seems to be working everywhere else.

Maybe all the younguns are in the fishing sections. We ain't got time for that. We're solving the world's problems down here and that takes the wisdom of age!

Family is everything!

Life is precious. We donโ€™t have forever. We have now. This moment. We can choose to love our lives now.

The TFF may be a canary in the coal mine for the rest of the world and the population looming population collapse. The average age across the globe in virtually all developed countries continues to increase. In 1990 the median age in China was 25. It's now 38 and rapidly rising. In Japan it's 57, adult diapers outsell baby diapers in that country. People just don't want to have kids anymore and it's skewing the numbers.

Once the median age crosses retirement age everything it starts to hit the fan. The olds put their money in treasuries and other low yield but safe investment vehicles. This causes the cost of capital and thus the cost of growth to skyrocket. Not to mention the tax base crumbles as the cost of social security programs skyrockets. Play the math out and you end up with an aged population where the main job for the yutes is taking care of the olds who spend every last dime to prolong their life for just a little more time in the nursing home.

Eventually all these olds will die and populations around the globe will shrink dramatically. We've never seen this in human history. The closest corollary is the black plague in Europe in the 1300's, which as you know lead to the dark ages.

One picture of a Kardashian or a Jenner wearing a TFF hat would skyrocket the Gen Z numbers.
