Where is the best places to catch live shad i will be around the bridge area thanks. Also how has the catfishing been?

Interested to to see the responses as I am heading out on Wednesday to fish the lake for a full week.

It looks like it should be cooling down and hopefully some rain coming the next few days so should be good.

Same as anywhere. Earlier than early. Close to ramps in coves. Watch for 'em flipping. If you're close to the bridge I'd look around there.

they sell fresh dead ones over at the bait store on the east end of 2 mi bridge.
