Not sure how many follow Nascar here but he's missing the 4th race in a row. Crash thats put him out looked tame so either the new car is not safe or they're not saying/hiding something about his condition.

Many of the drivers are saying they have taken some of the hardest hits of their careers in this new car. Also have to wonder if something is going on to assure Ty Gibbs has a ride for next Year. Maybe he gets in with JGR or maybe he gets Kurt's ride when Kurt ends up retiring due to "medical reasons"

I hope he has a full recovery and return to racing, if that’s what he wants. Concussions in any type of racing are serious and the cumulative effect of a career of racing and crashing adds up over time. The breaking point can come when you least expect it.

It's not up to him.
NASCAR rules forced him to take the Concussion Protocol Test, just like they do in football. He failed the first test just after the crash, and now he has to meet certain criteria to pass follow-on tests. Apparently if you're eyes are crossed, they won't let you on the track.
Could easily lead to retirement.
I'm glad there are wine drinkers in this world ..... it saves more beer for the rest of us.

He tried a conditioning workout to best simulate racing conditions this week and could not get it done.

Anyone who puts the suit on and races at the highest level can never be considered soft. However, you have to know your body and your capabilities to know when you can and when you can’t. Kurt Busch has been a tough as nails driver for many years. I’ll cut him some slack at 44 years old.

I hope Kurt gets back in the car soon.
I think sometimes the reason why the NASCAR young guns are so fast is they haven't hit anything real hard yet.

Team wolfs I had to perform. It took a minute to get it all in my mouth and another five to swallow it all.

He may have had too many accidents and may never pass the concussion protocol test. I hope this is not the case but the body and mind can only take so much abuse.
