Not during the anthem. During the anthem, he said toe on the line.

In a Week 3 game during the 2017 season, after President Donald Trump called to "fire or suspend" NFL players who protested during the anthem, Jones and the entire Cowboys team took a knee moments before the anthem played but stood before it started.

I understand posting in the forum about this...it's new'ish.

However, it's not just the kneeling that too many players, coaches and owners have done to turn off millions of "former" NFL fans.

Those who "used" to watch football, but do not anymore, do not care one bit what the NFL does from here on.

We've got other things to do on Sunday!

All the best to all the forum members!

And he was the only owner that had the balls to tell everyone they will stand during the anthem.

Don’t look like standing to me.

Whatever. You’ll be watching football from 12-10 on sundays.

I love football, as soon as I hear the opening music to the game my eyelids get heavy. Some of my best naps have happened during the games, if I happen to wake up and it’s still on I just turn it to anything else. If everyone supported the NFL as much as I do all those whiney [censored] players would be making minimum wage.

NO, I WON'T be watching!

I have not for 2 years now. I bike-ride, fish, go to guitar jams, watch movies or anything else.

...!

Just my opinion but the one thing that should bring us all together regardless of race, religion, politics, how we fish, etc., is being an American. I have better things to do when a bunch of overpaid athletes believe they are doing something about an issue try and take that away. 3 plus minutes of kneeling during the one thing that should bring us together does not make a person a social warrior. It is unbelievably hypocritical when an athlete is making millions a year is claiming they are oppressed.

These athletes have the chance to be positive and go into neighborhoods and really make a difference but they choose to kneel during the anthem. (I do know that some do so I'm trying not to paint everyone into the same corner.) I argue that them kneeling literally does the opposite of what they are trying to do. It literally divides us more.

Rant over.
