I just got a bay boat and planning on doing some nearshore fishing out of Port Aransas and maybe Freeport.
What are some good sites with accurate information on nearshore (20 miles) reefs and rigs for fishing?
I looked on the Texas Parks and wildlife site for artificial reefs but many of the sites look old and people are reporting they appear to have been covered by sand.

Stop by Port A Outfitters and pick up Marvin Horner's "Best Little Hang Book in Texas".
This book is a collection of shrimper hangs amassed over many years of captaining offshore vessels. Thousands of numbers. It has numbers for every port from Sabine Pass to S.P.I.
The best $100 you'll ever spend.

The Kinta S is a great ship reef to fish out of Port Aransas. There are also other smaller reefs surrounding the ship. There are some great video made when they sunk the ship that will give you an idea of what it looks like.
Kinta S - MU-775 - Corpus Christi #1 Kinta S Port: Port Aransas. 22 miles Clearance: 42 ft. Depth: 107 ft Lat: 27° 38' 37" N (27.64372) Lng: 97° 0' 20" W (-97.00563

Our new West Gulf V2 will have a huge expansion near shore around Freeport and Port Aransas with tones of new wreaks and cut off areas.
Make sure to stay tuned for that release later this month!
