RE: Lake Amistad lake lever and ramp closures.

Permian Bass Club annual SIT State Invitational tournament is still on go. We are as disappointed as anyone in the low lake level at Amistad, Although this puts a hiccup in our usual plans I'm sure each angler will be able to take on the additional challenge. Stay tuned as we work out the logistics on this. Sign up will still be the same at the convention center and weigh-in is still under review. We have our live release trailer so we have some options. We will absolutely do our best to make this work for everyone. Thanks guys, lets make this fun as opposed to being bummed out.

WAIT JUST A DANG MINUTE. Perhaps a move isn't going to happen. Parks dept has confirmed Diablo is closing TEMPORARILY! The ramp continues out quite a bit. Over time people have accidentally dropped things into the water at the ramp. (kitchen sink) Parks dept is going to clean it all up and reopen the ramp. Clean up may take a few weeks. If all this goes as planned the ramp should be open in time for the SIT. Stay tuned...

Update, Diablo East is open. I apologize for any confusion, The intent was to keep anyone wanting to fish the SIT informed. The story and events surrounding the ramp closures changed daily for a few days.We have been staying in communications with the Parks Service @ Amistad, as they clean off the ramp at Diablo, ramp should be open this week. This will give us Diablo East and Rough Canyon ramps, we hope to have shuttles running at both ramps this year.We are really excited for this years SIT its our 58th year to host this event, the last few years there's been a few thing different, well this year its all back, back at the Civic Center for registration, all payouts and awards ceremony on Sunday, along with 50 Favorite rod to give away, discount code from Favorite to all anglers for online shopping, 2 guide trips from the best in the game Ray Hanselman and Kurt Dove. Rumor has it the fishing is back as well.Proline Marine again is adding $1000.⁰⁰ for biggest bass of the event.Ron Hoover RV and Marine again will have mystery weight give away of $1000.⁰⁰. this year will have Saturday mystery weight $500.⁰⁰ and a Sunday  mystery weight $500.⁰⁰ to give away at the Civic center.Jim and Gail are graciously having us again this year @ Amistad Marine for weigh in.Grab your partner, register online and come join us for our 58th Annual SIT.Hope to see you there!
