Wide price range here, I assume you’re asking about the cheaper ($99 “ish” models). They start out really good, tend to need new bearings after a few years. Slap some ceramic bearings back in it and it’s good to go. For the price, they are a good bargain. Probably not a good choice for a real heavy bait.

I like them, have 6-8 now with most being the super duty wide spool.
