Saw Honey Hole filming on a lake this morning, they were gone and loaded up by 10:00. Didn't see them catch but maybe a fish or two.

The times I have been on there once we caught 8-10 fish we were done. Sometimes it took us till well I to the day and other times just a couple of hours ir less. I assume uts still that way.

This weather can make it tought, my son and I are headed for Sandlin Saturday morning; this will be the 3rd Saturday in a row. I made the previous two trips by myself and aren't exactly tearing them up but aren't getting skunked either. Five dinks and a three pounder as well as a few missed bites on the previous two trips. Given the success I've had on other lakes in these conditions I'll take what I've got so far as a win. I've been fishing shallow in the shadows in secondary coves but I'm thinking about moving out deep at least for part of this trip and throwing a C-rig and deep diving crankbaits. Got to be some big ones somewhere.

Truth be told, the last 10 or so shows I’ve seen, between all the sponsor plugs and graph break down, if he catches 5-7 fish, it becomes a show. I’m betting he caught 6 or 7 first thing and they will make a show out of it.

With a 30 min show, 10-15 min of fishing is really all you need.
