Hey DK, you do realize that some reels aren’t made for saltwater, right?
Absolutely... The Curado E was one of the popular Shimano reels on the Texas coast for years, and still is. The Chronarch CI4 and Curado 70 were all "saltwater approved." When they started making noise and losing performance that's when I quit on Shimano.

Majek 22 Extreme/225 Optimax Pro XS hauled by a 2500HD Duramax

This one still works to this day even after a dog got a hold of it
By the way grout, this is one of the Concept reels that I don’t take to saltwater. It’s a magnesium frame and would corrode before I even knew what happened

I’ll need to try one sometime.
13 gets a lot of hate. Not sure if it's because their the new kid on the block, bright colors, or marketing tactics. Before I went all in on Shimano my reel lineup was a 50/50 mix of Concept A's and Z's and the other half was Daiwa Tatula SV TW's. I sold off all the Daiwa's before the 13's because they fit my hand better and were less finicky.
They are not a mess. I take care of all of my equipment. I will not post a picture but you are welcome to come out to Lake Fork and look at them for yourself if you feel the need to do so. I don't mind. I am a tackle nut and always have been. I do not hunt or golf so what I save by not doing those hobbies, I spend on fishing equipment.
Way too far for me to travel, but you know what they say about fisherman being liars.
Well that would you being the liar. I invited you out to see them but you will not so that is on you. Maybe you don't want to make a fool out of yourself by realizing that I really do have that many, just like I said.
You have never seen my boat shed or my tackle shed so you have NO IDEA WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT. You are the liar, and you just proved that.

You’re right, I’m clueless. Let’s see those 150 reels, tackle shed and boat shed. Are you ?
And no, I just have some some junky Lews, Shimanos and a few older Abu’s.
For the record, it’s a 6 hour drive to Fork. I think a simple pic will suffice.
